POSITION: CAD Drafter       

POSITION SUMMARY

To prepare drawings and exhibits for design, permitting, land acquisition, operation, maintenance, and construction of natural gas and electric systems.  Some typical project types are long transmission pipeline installations, retrofitting existing pipelines and installing or upgrading system controls, valves, and fittings.  Drawing components include wiring diagrams, foundations, component assemblies, welded assemblies and geo-referenced aerial imagery.  The CAD Drafter may be responsible to review as-built documentation for accuracy, report findings and incorporate red line as-built information into existing drawings in various formats.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requires Associate’s degree, CAD Certification with a minimum of two years’ of relevant experience or a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

POSITION: Flow Assurance Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Perform the modelling of multi-phase oil/ gas gathering and re-injection systems; Multiphase and Single Phase Steady state analysis, system optimization and detailed reporting; Multiphase and Single Phase Transient analysis and detailed reporting; Liquid Surge Analysis.
  • Liaison with client, third parties and project disciplines
  • Perform and check pipeline calculations and design
  • Assist Lead Flow Assurance Engineer in all or some of the following for the flow assurance scope: organize/plan jobs, write/review specifications, prepare/maintain schedules, develop/monitor estimates and manpower forecasts, assign work, work with project/client/field.
  • Assist in preparing to estimates, schedules, man-hour, manpower, and material forcasts.
  • Assist in preparing and participate in presentation to Project Management and Client
  • Utilize vendor data and work with personal from other disciplines as required for the performace of designs
  • Interface with the pipeline engineering team
  • Interface with and develop client relations, including Client Downhole / Reservoir Team.
  • Interface with engineering disciplines, particularly process and controls
  • Attend and participate in weekly progress and technical meetings (internal and with Client).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum qualification Bachelors degree, preferably in Chemical/Process Engineering (from a recognized educational University Institute)
  • Must have previous experience with an EPC company in Pipeline front end studies, feasibility design and detail design for on/offshore pipeline networks carrying multi-phase oil/gas/chemicals
  • Detailed experience in have carried out flow assurance analysis and detailed reporting (steady state, transients, liquid surge, operability analysis)
  • Familiar with Kazak, UK, European & US pipeline codes (inc ASME B31.4 & ASME B31.8)
  • Must have detailed experience of actually using Pipeline Network steady state & transient hydraulic packages, such as PIPESIM NET, PIPEPHASE, OLGA, PIPELINE STUDIO, STONER, FLOWMATER, AFT FATHOM / IMPULSE.
  • Have previopus experience with OLGA-HYSYS pipeline / plant complete system modeling and analysis (an advantage)
  • Must have extensive experience of preparing and writing detailed technical flow assurance reports, and presenting results (English language).
